Stage Presence Workshop

The stage presence workshop is designed to introduce performers to the techniques of stage presence. Students will learn all about how to “work the stage”. Topics include: where to move, where to look, what to do with your hands, stage fright and how to overcome it, what not to do on stage, microphone technique, preparing for the performance, working with lighting, working with a band, and wardrobe. Everyone will have a chance to perform. This is a great opportunity to prepare for the recital!

 Parents are invited from 12:30 to 1 to watch the students perform.

*A Parent must accompany any child under 8. Thank You!

 Each participant will receive a notebook, pen, and several handouts. We will have pizza and juice for lunch. Bottled water will also be available.

 Each participant will have the chance to perform and be critiqued. This is very helpful for all performers. You will be able to learn from each other!
